     My name is Amy Swindell. I'm a photography major at Rogers State University, but I've been in love with photography from a very young age. I've been shooting for several years now, and my shooting style is a little different that the average photographer. I try to shoot honest and pure images that truly capture the moment. My goal is to capture not only what the moment looks like.. but also how if feels. I am a self-taught editor and I have been photo-editing for the last two years. Every image I shoot gets re-touched before I share it- some receive only small fixes, some get more extreme.  I love shooting emotional moments such as weddings, engagements, and newborns; I tell people that I get a contact high! I believe that everyone has a story to share, and it's my job to tell it.
     I model too, so I know exactly what it's like to be in front of the camera. Believe me, I've had my fair share of pictures taken of me that were less than flattering! I will do my very best to help put you at ease and capture stunning images!
     Occasionally, depending on the shoot, I may have a "second", or second photographer, with me. This is very common for larger shoots such as weddings. I always choose good friends of mine that have taken pictures of me, that way I know that they take amazing pictures! If someone isn't good enough to shoot for my modeling portfolio, they aren't good enough to be shooting your special moments!
