Abriahna

Over the weekend, my twin brother and his wife surprised my family with a visit! They live in Utah, while we live in Oklahoma. They have a little girl, Abriahna, who was born in March but my family has only gotten to see her a couple of times. She is the first grandchild for my parents and this is my first chance to play Aunt! Needless to say I am completely wrapped around her tiny finger! I was lucky enough to get some shots before they had to leave and of course I have to share them because I'm such a proud aunty!

Braya

Christal called me out of the blue one day. I was shocked.. because she was the first person to call me that I didn't already know.. that's pretty major. She wanted me to take pictures of her little girl, Braya, who is 10 months old. I was pretty excited! Another chance to shoot in studio :)

Kristin

This shoot was a big milestone for me! I was going to be shooting another photographer, and to me.. it's high praise when another artist wants you to shoot for them! I traveled all the way to Tulsa to meet with Kristin and her new husband Mike (and their two adorable dogs) to take Christmas card pictures. Here are a few of their shots!!

Heather and Mike

My sister-in-law had me come out and take pictures this past weekend! It was sooo very cold outside that day, but they were amazing. Poor Mike! We kept having to coax him out of his hoodie every few frames :D

Garcia Christmas!

I had the chance to shoot my family's Christmas portraits this year! I was very excited to use my brand new lights :D With my twin brother and I moved out and married, it was just my mom and my two younger sisters this year. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Gudenkauf Family

I did my first set of family portraits! It seems silly that I haven't shot a family before, but I've never gotten the chance. I was a little nervous (well, more so than usual) and I researched lots of tricks to help me. This family has a 2 year old, and a 4 year old.. I knew I had a long shoot ahead of me :D

The shoot went amazing! Wyatt was so entertaining, as I'm sure all 4 year old's are, and I quickly learned to work WITH him instead of against him. I would shoot a couple, and then show him. And I'd let him get his poses in, then ask him to do a certain pose. What an amazing family to learn with!  Here are a couple of their shots:
